Kithima Biodiversity Rehabilitation – CBO Kithima Biodiversity Rehabilitation (KBR-CBO) is a community-based organization focused on environmental restoration, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable land management. The organization works closely with local communities to restore degraded landscapes through agroforestry, tree growing, ecosystem rehabilitation, and climate-smart environmental practices. The organization is driven by local community members, youth, farmers, and environmental stewards who are passionate about protecting nature while improving livelihoods. KBR-CBO believes that restoration is most effective when communities are directly involved in caring for their land, forests, water sources, and biodiversity. Our work includes tree nursery development, farmer engagement, restoration data collection, landscape monitoring, and awareness creation on climate resilience and conservation.
