About COMMUNITY ACTION FOR HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT
Community Action For Health and Development (CAHED) is a Kenyan community-based youth serving organization for young women and girls rights founded in Homa Bay. CAHED is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving community health, empowering vulnerable groups, and fostering sustainable development. Founded on the belief that sustainable change must come from within, CAHED partners closely with communities to identify pressing challenges and co-create solutions.
Through partnerships with women, youth groups, schools, community leaders, and local institutions, CAHED promotes nature-based and community-led approaches that restore dignity, opportunity, and resilience.
Founded on the belief that lasting change must come from within communities, CAHED works closely with local people to identify pressing social, environmental, and health challenges and co-create inclusive, locally driven solutions.
