About Tennessee Environmental Council
Tennessee Environmental Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1970 to tie together environmental organizations and drive focused advocacy for Tennessee's environment. TEC's vision is thriving habitats, a circular economy, and climate balance in Tennessee. Our organization empowers citizens to participate in environmental stewardship through initiatives such as watershed, recycling roundups, tree, composting, and pollinator. TEC promotes sustainable practices at the individual level, offering resources for home composting, pollinator garden creation, and tree planting.
