Our Mission: Reclaiming Food Sovereignty Through Sacred Seeds
For generations, our ancestors have stewarded landrace corn varieties—seeds carrying the wisdom, resilience, and identity of our peoples. Even in diaspora, we believe it is our ancestral responsibility to protect and share these sacred crops with our communities.
Unlike genetically modified varieties, these traditional seeds thrive across diverse soils and climates, reflecting millennia of Indigenous and campesino knowledge. They offer unmatched nutrition, flavor, and cultural significance. In Mexico—corn's birthplace—a constitutional ban protects GM cultivation, rooted in the saying: "Sin maíz, no hay país" ("Without corn, there is no country"). This reflects a profound truth: corn is identity, medicine, and life itself.
By preserving these seeds here, we join a transnational movement defending food sovereignty and biodiversity. We're reimagining nourishment—restoring land, healing bodies, and reconnecting communities to ancestral foods.
