About Mutirão Agroflorestal

Mutirão Agroflorestal is an NGO that aims to contribute to the construction of sustainable societies through a network of people integrated around agroforestry learning, experiences, and experimentation. The organization conducts intensive immersion courses and experiences where participants exchange knowledge and realities, and implements and manages areas of successional agroforests focused on agroecology and agroforestry. Beyond being a biodiversity planting technique that combines agriculture with trees based on natural cycles, agroforestry strengthens the valorization of biodiversity and emphasizes the view that humans participate in the ecological web.

Arte na Terra - Agroforestry coffie, art bees and education

This is our Head quarters in Ribeirão preto a tradicional Coffie farm that has been regenerated to be a agroforestry coffie production site as well as and arte and environmental educational place, we receive schools and all kind of students. We also have a project with bees focussing on the role of ecological restoration and agroforestry for bee protection and how they improve our agroecossistems and help keep our production healthier.
