About La Tierra del Jaguar

La Tierra del Jaguar is a binational 501(c)3 nonprofit that teaches regenerative skills and empowers people to coexist with nature in jaguar habitat while reversing land degradation and climate change impacts. The organization partners with landowners to restore land using process-based restoration techniques and agave polycultures that create resilient communities and benefit wildlife. Located in Sonora, Mexico, La Tierra del Jaguar restores degraded land by introducing agave agroforestry systems to increase local livelihoods while creating an environment where the critically endangered jaguar can exist in harmony with communities.
