# Kevin Richardson's Mission to Save Africa's Wildlife Kevin Richardson's two-decade journey with lions in South Africa sparked a powerful vision: that true conservation means protecting not just animals, but the ecosystems they depend on to survive. Witnessing rapid habitat loss and human expansion fragmenting wildlife spaces, Kevin founded his conservation effort on a crucial belief—land protection is wildlife protection. Today, his work focuses on expanding protected conservation areas in South Africa's Dinokeng region, a biodiversity hotspot increasingly threatened by development and environmental degradation. **The Goal** Over the next 12 months, the Foundation aims to acquire and protect additional land, creating a connected conservation landscape that strengthens ecosystem resilience and preserves critical wildlife habitat. **Your Impact** Funds will support land acquisition, habitat management, biodiversity monitoring, and sustainable infrastructure. Equally important, the project creates genuine opportunities for local communities through conservation jobs, environmental education, and skills development. Lasting conservation thrives only when communities become active participants and beneficiaries. **The Vision** Working alongside conservation partners, educators, and local stakeholders, the Foundation is building a future where wildlife flourishes alongside thriving communities. Together, we can ensure that generations to come inherit landscapes where nature still has room to recover and thrive.
