The CEVADO-PAFF Ecological Center: Restoring Haiti's Future
Greenwave Haiti is transforming environmental protection into concrete action. Our CEVADO-PAFF Center (Ecological Waste Valorization and Fruit & Forest Tree Production Center) tackles two urgent crises: Haiti's organic waste mismanagement and accelerating deforestation threatening Cap-Haïtien and Limonade.
Our Mission
We believe lasting change starts locally. By converting organic waste into nutrient-rich compost and cultivating thousands of fruit and forest tree seedlings, we're closing the loop on environmental degradation while strengthening food security. This circular model unites agroecology with waste management.
Progress to Date
With local community support and a dedicated site in Roucou, our team has achieved remarkable results since April 2026. Three community work days mobilized neighbors to clear land, prepare fertile beds, and construct protective structures. We've already filled thousands of seedling bags and built secure infrastructure.
Your Impact
Initial investments (96,755 gourdes) equipped the nursery with essential tools, fencing, and materials. Every dollar directly protects the land and scales production.
Despite logistical challenges and weather obstacles, our determined team perseveres. We're now positioned to launch mass production and distribution—planting seeds of resilience across northern Haiti.
