Restoring Native Forests in the Andes
High in the rocky canyons of Pampa de Achala and Puna Jujeña, we're bringing ancient forests back to life. Our mission: restore native woodlands of Polylepis australis (tabaquillo) and Polylepis tomentella (queñua)—remarkable endemic trees that thrive among the clouds.
These aren't ordinary trees. They're natural water guardians, nurturing the soil and sustaining entire communities. For generations, these species have been vanishing from our landscape.
Since 2020, our dedicated team has planted over 960,000 trees across 300 hectares, transforming barren land into thriving ecosystems. But our work is far from over.
Your support helps us continue this vital restoration. Together, we're not just planting trees—we're securing water, rebuilding habitat, and empowering local communities. We're sowing the future of the Andes, one seedling at a time.
