The Pader Forest Garden Project
Fifty-two farming families are ready to break free from poverty. Through the Pader Forest Garden Project, they'll transform degraded land into thriving, sustainable forest gardens—unlocking food security and steady income for generations to come.
Forest gardens are nature's answer to agricultural challenges. This multi-tiered system combines trees, shrubs, and crops on just one to two acres, creating a resilient ecosystem that works harder while demanding less. Once established, trees require minimal labor and resources yet deliver remarkable productivity.
The challenge? Most small-scale African farmers lack the resources and technology to escape the exhausting cycle of subsistence farming. They're trapped growing short-term crops to meet immediate needs, unable to invest in long-term solutions.
That's where this project makes the difference. Locally-based technicians will partner directly with farmers to design customized forest gardens tailored to their land and needs. Together, they'll maximize yields, ensure consistent income, and revitalize the soil beneath their feet.
This is sustainable agriculture that actually works—rooted in local knowledge and designed for lasting change.
