Earth Guardians Sierra Leone is a vibrant community of young people dedicated to safeguarding our natural beauty and resources. Earth Guardians is an environmental organization committed to empowering youth and front-line communities to advance climate, water, and environmental justice. Earth Guardians Sierra Leone is a country branch of the parent Earth Guardians global network, located in 47 countries across the globe.
Earth Guardians Sierra Leone is a legally registered community-based organization (CBO). EG-SL operates under a locally governed structure that combines strategic oversight with a lean administrative and technical team to ensure effective program delivery and accountability.
At the governance level, the organization is guided by a local board of directors, which provides strategic direction, policy guidance, and oversight of management and financial accountability.
The operational structure is led by a project director, who is responsible for overall leadership.
