As part of the implementation of our projects in the agricultural sector, we would first like to emphasize that we have access to excellent land, rich in ecological nutrients and ideal for agroecology. Furthermore, this land allows us to achieve high-quality results that enable us to have a positive impact on our communities.
Regarding our work, we focus on sustainable agricultural production that supports local agroecology, which rapidly facilitates ecosystem restoration. Here, we guide our beneficiaries towards vegetable production without the use of chemical fertilizers that are highly toxic to human health; that is, we use only organic fertilizers through composting.
In line with our objectives, we contribute to practical agricultural production, the supply of local agri-food products, and the promotion of the value chain in commercial centers. Our innovative approach involves transforming the talents of young people in local agroecology to empower them economically through ecological restoration. Regarding the challenges, in our country, the DRC, particularly in the East, we face the following major challenges:
Lack of access to donor funding due to a lack of information, and our government's failure to subsidize the sector due to poor governance;
Lack of start-up funds for activities in our various intervention areas;
Lack of sufficient working tools and ongoing technical support for our teamThis project is not accepting donations yet. Explore the story, places, and evidence — or follow DJPE for updates.
