About Conserve Natural Forests
Conserve Natural Forests is a dedicated non-profit organization rooted in the Pai District of Mae Hong Son in Northern Thailand, with a presence in Krabi in the South, and active planting sites spanning over nine provinces across Thailand. The organization's mission is to restore natural forest landscapes throughout Thailand to optimal structure, functionality, and resiliency in ways that protect and enhance biodiversity, self-regulate landscape ecological functions, and improve the livelihoods of local communities in the long term. Core projects include reforestation, wildlife conservation, and education. The organization runs programs to protect endangered species such as Asian elephants and tortoises by creating safe, natural habitats, and through educational workshops raises awareness about conservation while empowering local communities and volunteers to play an active role in preserving the environment.
