Ciudad de Luz 13:20 — Protecting Indigenous Land, Culture, and Regeneration

Ciudad de Luz 13:20 (CDL13:20) is a regenerative land project rooted in the Mayan region of southeastern Mexico. Our mission is to help protect ancestral land, preserve indigenous wisdom, and support the regeneration of both ecosystems and local communities.

We believe that protecting the Earth cannot be separated from protecting the people and cultures that have lived in relationship with the land for generations.

CDL13:20 is being developed as a regenerative biocultural sanctuary that supports:

• Land restoration and reforestation
• Preservation of Mayan cultural knowledge and traditions
• Bioregional tourism in collaboration with indigenous communities
• Local economic empowerment through regenerative initiatives
• Educational and cultural experiences connected to Mayan wisdom and the Tzolkin calendar
• Natural building using local materials
• Healing, wellness, and community spaces
• Sovereign and community-centered governance models
• Transparent Web3 tools for regenerative collaboration and funding

A central part of our work is building respectful relationships with local Mayan communities to help strengthen cultural preservation, traditional arts, ancestral knowledge, and sustainable economic opportunities rooted in the region’s identity.

Our goal is not to commercialize indigenous culture, but to help create regenerative pathways where culture, land, and community can thrive together for future generations.
