Carablaze Enterprise Limited is a community-led environmental restoration initiative based in Zambia, working to address the growing challenge of deforestation and land degradation. Across many rural areas, unsustainable land use practices, tree loss, and environmental pressure have led to declining soil health, reduced vegetation cover, and weakened ecosystems that communities depend on for their livelihoods.
Our project focuses on restoring degraded landscapes through tree planting, afforestation, and community-based environmental conservation. We work directly with local farmers, women, and youth to restore damaged land while building long-term environmental awareness and stewardship. Through training, sensitization, and workshops, we equip communities with practical knowledge on sustainable land management, agroforestry, and ecosystem protection.
Our goals are to restore degraded land, increase tree cover, strengthen biodiversity, and build resilient communities that actively protect their environment. In the next phase of our work, we aim to expand from our current province to reach all ten provinces of Zambia, scaling our impact to more remote and underserved communities.
If funded, resources will be used to expand restoration activities, support tree planting and maintenance, strengthen community training programs, and improve monitoring of environmental impact. A key focus will be ensuring higher survival rates of planted trees through follow-up care and continuous community engagement.
Despite strong community interest, our main challenges include limited funding, difficulty reaching remote areas, and insufficient resources to scale training and field operations. However, with continued support, we are committed to transforming degraded landscapes into thriving ecosystems while creating inclusive green opportunities for local communities.
Our work is not for profit, and we are currently transitioning into a non-governmental organization to strengthen our ability to serve communities and expand our environmental impact across Zambia.
