Restoring Soil, Rebuilding Hope in Bufuula
Bufuula's farmers face a critical challenge: rapidly degrading soil is shrinking harvests and threatening their families' survival. Decades of unsustainable farming, deforestation, and climate pressures have depleted the land's fertility, leaving communities increasingly vulnerable.
But change is possible.
This project will empower 50 local farmers with the knowledge and tools to revitalize their land. Over three months, participants will engage in interactive community sessions and hands-on learning experiences, culminating in a guided tour of the Edward Hamlet Regenerative Center—a thriving demonstration garden showcasing proven regenerative practices.
Farmers will discover practical, affordable solutions for restoring soil health and boosting productivity while building community resilience. By combining local knowledge with sustainable agricultural methods, Bufuula's farmers can reclaim their harvests and secure a more stable future for their families.
Your support makes this transformation possible—helping 50 farming families regain hope and rebuild their livelihoods.
