PEACE Foundation Bundibugyo is a grassroots community-based nonprofit organization responding to and challenging the effects and causes of climate change, poverty and marginalization through permaculture education and facilitating community action for sustainability in Uganda's rural district of Bundibugyo. The organization provides community groups with vegetable seedlings and teaches organic farming practices to support food security. PEACE Foundation believes critical issues affecting communities require collective input, involvement and prioritization through social action and policy considerations.
