Mangaroa Farms is a resilient community food hub and education centre with 2,000 acres of living laboratory for transitioning dairy and pine into regenerative agriculture and native forests. The market garden team produces fresh organic produce through building healthy soil and microbial systems, while the farm backs onto 500+ acres of native old growth forest and 700+ acres of pine which will be regenerated as a native forest over the next 2-5 years. Mangaroa Farms regularly hosts volunteer days and workshops to share knowledge with the community.
