Mangaroa Farms

Mangaroa Farms is a resilient community food hub and education centre with 2000-acres of living laboratory for transitioning dairy and pine into regenerative agriculture and native forests. The market garden team produces fresh produce using organic principles and builds healthy soil and microbial systems. The farm backs onto 500+ acres of native old growth forest, with 700+ acres of pine planned to be regenerated as native forest over the next 2-5 years. Mangaroa Farms regularly hosts volunteer days and workshops to share knowledge with the community.
