Mangaroa Farms

Mangaroa Farms is a nonprofit community food hub and regenerative agriculture education centre located in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. Operating across 2000 acres in the Hutt Valley water catchment, the organization transitions former dairy and forestry land into regenerative agricultural practices and native forests while supporting local food sovereignty. Mangaroa Farms operates an organic farm shop featuring locally grown produce and regeneratively raised meat, provides farm-based education and retreats, and has planted over 60,000 native plants and trees to restore riparian ecosystems and enhance watershed health.
