Mangaroa Farms is a resilient community food hub and education centre with 2000-acres of living laboratory for transitioning dairy and pine into regenerative agriculture and native forests. Through building healthy soil and microbial systems, their market garden team produces fresh organic produce available from their Farm Shop, in efforts to increase localised food production. The farm backs onto 500+ acres of native old growth forest, with 700+ acres of pine to be regenerated as native forest over the next 2-5 years. Mangaroa Farms regularly hosts volunteer days and workshops to share the broad knowledge base of their team.
