Mangaroa Farms is a community food hub and resilience education centre located in Te Awa Kairangi, the Hutt Valley water catchment, Upper Hutt, Wellington. Operating as a 2000-acre living laboratory, it transitions former dairy and pine land into regenerative agriculture and native forests. The organization operates a farm shop offering organically grown produce, regeneratively raised meat, pasture-raised eggs, and artisan products from local producers. It has planted over 60,000 native plants and trees, with riparian planting along waterways to manage soil erosion and support biodiversity.
