Mangaroa Farms is a community food hub and resilience education centre located in Te Awa Kairangi, the Hutt Valley water catchment, Upper Hutt, Wellington. The organization operates 2000 acres as a living laboratory for transitioning dairy and pine into regenerative agriculture and native forests. They operate a Farm Shop offering organically grown produce, regeneratively raised meat, pasture raised eggs, and artisan products from local producers. Over the last few years, they have planted over 60,000 native plants and trees, demonstrating their commitment to land restoration and biodiversity enhancement.
