Lighthouse L2 is a grassroots community organization rooted in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are a gathering place for environmental educators, community advocates, entrepreneurs, students, creatives, and everyday citizens who are passionate about understanding and restoring the environment around them. We were born out of a simple but powerful belief that the people of Port Harcourt, one of Nigeria's most environmentally impacted cities, deserve to fully understand the environmental realities they live with every day. From the gas flares burning across the Niger Delta to the oil spills poisoning rivers and farmland, from disappearing mangroves to worsening floods our communities are living at the frontline of an environmental crisis, yet access to clear, practical, and empowering environmental education remains out of reach for most.
