Kilombo Tenondé is an eco-educational association spanning 80 hectares in Bonfim, Valença, Bahia. Founded by Mestre Cobra Mansa, a globally recognized master of Capoeira Angola, it serves as a living laboratory integrating Capoeira Angola, permaculture, and Afro-Brazilian ancestral knowledge. Inspired by the historical philosophy of Brazilian quilombos, communities of resistance and harmony with nature, we provide a dynamic educational space for locals and global volunteers. Our core pillars include: - Capoeira & Culture: Daily training, instrument making, and cultural immersions. - Capoeira & Culture: Transmitting Black ancestral wisdom, body consciousness, and African cosmology through movement, music, and daily practice - Permaculture & Bioconstruction: Applying natural building and sustainable living practices. - Community Education: Empowering people through workshops and cooperative work (mutirões). We are committed to healing the earth and empowering people.
